Sol One Day Teacher Tuneup

Saturday, june 6th

Noon – 5pm
For the first time, we are opening our doors to invite fellow yoga teachers to join our annual One Day Teacher Tuneup –

an engaging workshop that seeks to ignite and empower our teachers.

During one comprehensive afternoon, teachers will explore cueing, assists, and simple sequencing – taught through the Baptiste methodology.

Of course, most yoga teachers already have the knowledge of cues and assists and sequences. This Tuneup seeks to help those teachers refine their craft.

Following each mini-lesson, teachers will participate in discussions and practice teach alongside one another.

lessons will include

E
The power of simplicity in movement
E
The art of curated cues
E
The efficacy of using assists to help teach
E
& more
This training will be led/facilitated by Sol’s Director of Teaching Amy Tetreault (RYT 500).
Amy has been teaching at Sol since 2019 and builds her classes in a way that seek to weave together physical challenge and mental clarity. In recent years, Amy has honed her teaching skills by running Sol’s 50 Hour Immersion, which introduces students to the key foundational elements of yoga – on and off the mat.

Additional yoga credentials include: Baptiste Power Yoga Instructor Credential; Teacher Tuneup Trainings with Brandon Compagnone (Baptiste Power Yoga Boston); Philip Urso (Live, Love, Teach); Patrick Beach (Awakening Yoga); and more.  Outside the studio, Amy uses her over-priced Emerson College wordsmithing skills for the local not-for-profit where she has worked for 15 years.
